How is Palo Alto Networks ?
Been offered Senior Principal role. In the process of finalizing the numbers. Would like to hear from folks who have joined there recently / been there for a while.. whats the company like ? Sorry about the low effort replies. I joined around spring and my experience has been good. They pay well and I think senior principal is the highest non management position they offer to new hires. My team and manager are cool and they've given me an interesting feature to work on. Expect a bit of a learning curve if you work on the firewalls. What location and team/subject area will you be working in?
Why leaving LinkedIn for PAN?
I feel I was low balled by hr when I joined (am 14 yoe yet was given senior swe - apparently they had some issues with my 'craftmanship' round). So I thought I'd join and work towards promotion. But looking increasing hard, since I'm not sure there is much scope for doing something impactful in my org - also there are others SSEs who've been around longer.
Pay at LNKD is not bad though
WLB is not good here at PAN
