Seems like a cool opportunity for data science in the fintech space... Is it worth checking out? Any idea on their potential?
Interviewed with them a while ago. Amazing people.
High level question about the interview, I heard they interview you like a SWE and it's not like leetcode style. Not much information out there, but I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to be unprepared with just python and SQL knowledge
It was pretty close to what I read on Glassdoor. Ask recruiter though because it may be different depending on team

Googlers entered Sundar’s office in protest and threatened to stay
Quietly crushing it for sure. We are starting to build Data Science with some data driven products slated for 2020. Strong team, eng driven, way more opportunity than we have the people to tackle. Def worth a chat if you’re looking around.
What's exit strategy looking like? And how's the wlb?
Exit strategy is to IPO. Not saying an acquisition isn’t possible but the business is very good. No timeline tho. It’s do great work and not work long hours. That being said people work hard and bank integrations (and bank random downtime) make oncall more substantial than average. It’s nothing like “work hard” in the valley 4-8 years ago however. The valley is softer now and it’s mostly 9-7p Mon through Thu, and to 4p Friday. People will push for a launch but we don’t tend to have many external deadlines (that’s the eng-driven ethos). If you’re looking for 35-40 hour weeks tho this isn’t the place.
