Who are you voting for in the 2024 Presidential Election?
Model 3 is quite different from S. First decide what you need. If you’re comparing between a new model 3 and a used model s for the same price, go for Model 3 as it will have the latest tech
What are key differences?
Model S is luxurious sibling of Model 3. Model S has bigger body, more miles per charge, powerful engine. That makes it pricier than 3. Model 3 and Model S cater to different market segments. So it depends which size are you looking for and how much are you willing to spend
I visited the website multiple times and compared the different models. I just want to know what people with more experience in cars see as the key features in model S that I will miss on model 3.
I feel rear seats of Model 3 are kinda cramped. If you have a bigger family, keep that in mind
I feel amz here is asking good questions. And getting in reply smug and useless answers from G and Cisco
Do they look serious questions to you? OP found this answer "Model S is luxurious sibling of Model 3. Model S has bigger body, more miles per charge, powerful engine. That makes it pricier than 3. Model 3 and Model S cater to different market segments. So it depends which size are you looking for and how much are you willing to spend" really useful. Being blunt here but what info of this is not available online. Any person can figure that out in 5 minutes if they visit a website. Good questions are those which are tough to answer, not these ones.
I don't think you can lease model 3
You can
You can but its pretty expensive with no option to buy iirc
I own a model 3. Tech wise, model 3 is more modern. It has a better UI imo and it has a horizontal screen. The model S has a tall vertical screen. Space wise, I think the model 3 was designed with space in mind. The car's usable cubic footage is pretty large (can't remember the number on the top of my head). I'm not sure on model S, but I know that some people on model S weren't satisfied with spacing. Drive wise... Well, just test drive both and see.
Will go for a test drive. Thanks for the info.
Tesla's model is not the dealership model. It's a direct to consumer model. Don't expect any discounts and ordering online is the same as from a Tesla center.
Model 3 is perfect for daily commute and pretty economical in long term. I feel S can be avoided in your case.
IMO, leasing a Tesla is not beneficial as there is no buying option at the end of the lease and the lease price is way high. So, it’s better to buy..personally, I like Model S because it has higher miles per charge, bigger engine and looks way better than model 3. If you are not going for style and just for commute, model 3 is better..
I’ve avoided Tesla for that reason everything I’ve read says to lease EVs because of the advance of the technology and batteries degradation.
I think this is true for EV’s of other companies but not for Tesla..I believe Tesla is way advanced in technology and their battery degradation is way low compared to other EV’s. That’s why people lease leafs and other EVs but not Tesla.
At the end of the day the batteries will get better and that will be true regardless of brand. Lease if you want to be safe and the deal makes sense.
TC? Location?
How is this relevant to my question?
He is trying to find out if your TC is good then why are you even thinking about 3 go for S. Lol
