Expecting an offer from in soon. Does anyone know their culture, benefits ?
Jealous brat?
Which role and which group !!
Sorry, it’s too early to tell.
Pls stay in linkedIn I don’t think it’s a rite move. But one thing assured in Visa is ur job security. No lay off.
That is one of the main reason for looking outside, not feeling comfortable in LinkedIn
Their latest technology is a chip on credit cards. why not go all the way and work for the DMV? Hell maybe some brothel in Richmond will hire you, are you good looking?
That first line — exactly how I position Visa! Lol
Thank you for all the overwhelming response. But still no one reply to my question. Cultural shift from LinkedIn to Visa ? I heard no wfh allowed and work life balance ?
I’m a contractor and I work in Austin. I don’t know how LinkedIn is, but I feel that Visa has a decent work-life balance. Most probably more bureaucratic than a typical Silicon Valley tech company. Not as engineering-led or driven. WFH and such things vary a lot from team to team but I’ve got the feeling that VIsA as a company just loves having meetings all the time.
This question is insane and the advice is abusive. Visa is the opposite of tech company, it's as primitive and bureaucratic as a government job. It's a huge demotion, ask LinkedIn recruiters if they look at visa employees.
Why wouldn't they? Even FANG hires from no name companies, why not Visa? Getting a job with FANG is about demonstrating ability, company brand only slightly helps to land an interview.
Wow @hdSt7I you have generalized it a lot. I am from Visa and had many times recruiters approached me from Netflix, Facebook and Amazon. It all depends on the individual and also very much which project you are working in. There are groups which are very good and there are many which are BS. so depends where you land :)
I completely agreed with @nonamepop. Candidate won’t be judged based on company brand. Btw, are you in foster city office ?
LinkedIn to Visa?
So high
Stay there my friend
