How was the transition to north Dakota? Office life there?
The office is great, but you will get bored of Fargo.
Thanks. I kind of expected that. Is it just good for raising a family or even too boring for that?
No, raising a family is fine. Cost of living is low (but not as low as you'd think) and the city is big enough that there's everything you'd need. Some things to consider, though, are: small airport so flights in and out are annoying and often expensive, the cold... THE COLD, and be prepared to be surrounded by heavy drinkers.
Watch the movie before moving.
It's nothing like the movie
Still a good movie to watch.
Discipline?
Just interning right now. Not super sure what I want to end up in. I'm doing data integration rn.
I have lots of family for up that direction. The Fargo people sound just like them! It’s a great place to raise or family but there is not much to do. Fargo is the largest thing around (and that’s not saying much). The city itself, as mentioned, is large enough for stuff to do but there isn’t much- though they do have a curling club (if you haven’t tried curling is pretty fun to try). If you love hunting and fishing that part of he country is great but def very, very cold in the winter!

They have a Fargo office? Interesting.

Seems so random, but cool.
