I am evaluating a potential opening at CloudPassage at their new Santa Clara location near Great Mall Pkwy. Got some idea about their product and team via Glassdoor. But any other insider info? What do you think their ipo strategy is? How much stock you may expect for a mid level engineering position?
Nope, no politics. It’s a very flat organization. They’re good to their people and the products are consistently rated best-in-class.
This is after the prior CEO left, I imagine?
Yes, he was ousted about two years ago. Things are much better now. Cash positive, great options, great industry reviews, etc.
Did you stick around until they got acquired?
Just found this. Did you wind up going with CloudPassage? If so, what do you think? I used to be there, and it didn’t seem like a very well-engineered product. Also, politics were a bit out of control.
I ended up not going there as they put the offer date a month later. They contacted back me after a month but by that time I already started my new job. I agree with you that the env smelled like politic-heavy even during my interview experience
