I interviewed 6 weeks ago and i was told by the recruiter and hiring manager that i did really well but they want to interview more candidates as part of the due dilligence. Curious if this is common at Airbnb? Not sure how to handle this as i have other offers from FB and some startups, not sure how long they will wait as well. TC - 415k
@yelp did you hear from them. I just got done with my interviews which went over 2 months. Finished my final rounds yesterday.
@Expedia Did you get the job?
They took 7 weeks to make a decision after last round. Unfortunately they used me as a backup candidate and thus dragged the process for several months. Disappointed by the recruiter in general.
So after the onsite, it was another 7 weeks to tell you they weren't taking you? 😳
Yeah :( it was. I also had to keep pinging the recruiter every 10 days unfortunately. It was a bad experience. I felt like they are a hot company so they have the liberty to do such things
