How long will the FB black sheep status last?
There’s been a lot of shit talking about joining Facebook. How long do you think that will last? Is this the new reality?

FB doesn't offer anything useful. All products are based on discretionary time. I have not used any FB stuff in years.

I hope everyone continues to hate on Facebook so that when I interview FB is more desperate for good people and I can get upleveled with a monster package.
Going from G to FB? May I ask why?
Promo is a circus. I transferred teams because my management abandoned me and my progress gets reset because I'm on a new team. If Google doesn't want to pay me market rate and promote me so I can take on more responsibility and growth then I'll find someone who will. G doesn't have my best interests aligned with theirs and I'm not about to sit around waiting for shit to fall into my lap.
The problem space is boring now :( social is no longer “sexy”
Doesn’t matter. What matters is if you believe in them. If you do, join them. If not, then look to join someone whom you believe.
