I did the first 100 most frequent questions for each, is that sufficient enough?

Did 0. Got 2 of 3 offers from your tagged companies. Word.
Nonsense. You obviously need to solve a bunch of puzzles when it is time to entertain the interviewers on the whiteboard
Read epi and ctci thoroughly along with some good ds book. Should be enough. People have been getting into faang even before leetcode was popular. Competitive programmers honed their skills even before hackerrank existed. Just saying.
Different bar this time
I did around 30 for fun
the number of questions you solve is meaningless, some people get offers having solved 0 leetcode while others solve 900 and fail
To play devils advocate, the existence of extreme counterexamples does not mean there isn’t a causative relationship between number of LC solved and likelihood of getting into fang. There can be a causative relationship alongside the existence of people who break the causative relationship.
It’s like saying “there exist short basketball players” but it sure helps to be tall
There is no magic number, just be able to solve a hard in 30 minutes and explain your process. Only you know how good you are. My advice is do a mock with a friend of recent questions from the discuss section on LC and have them grade you. Do this a bunch of times till you feel ready.
Thanks for the advice!
New grads, please don't get the wrong type of ideas with leetcode being the end-all achievement. Someone is making money off books and websites, while the industry, FAANG especially, are fucking up hiring processes. Know your stuff that they teach in school well.

The range is from 0 to infinity. Facts.
How many did you do?
