How much TC to not care about cost of eating out?

How much do you guys think you need to make to not care much about the cost of eating out. I eat out like 4-5 times a week which is costing me like $50-60 a week, which seems like a lot. Also single. TC: 200k Yoe: <2

$50-60 a week its not a lot of money. Just the fact to clean, cook and reheat the food its more expensive than $10. Cooking at home makes more sense you do it for a family and/or in any way you have a tight budget wich its not your case.

Eating out costs a lot more than $10 unless you eat at McDonalds everyday which will cost you a lot of money for medical expenses in the future

In this case 50 a week its 10, I spend more than that. But I was giving an example based in the situation of the OP.

I do the same. When you are single with 150-200K, enjoy!

Sounds like you too are living large.

I'm 400k+ and still care about the cost of eating out. Depends on where you normally eat out I guess

All this TC stuff is nonsense, you just need to save enough for your spending habits to be comfortable or adabt, simple math that is easier than TC

I'm in the 150-200 range, eat out every single meal, yet still can manage to only spend half my my after-tax income each year.

I haven't cared about cost of eating out since my parents were sending me monthly stipend when I was in college. I am promiscuous with money.

You should always be conscience of your spending.

I'm not saying you have to count pennies, or limit your spending. I'm just saying in the same way you should always make sure your paying attention to the last time you showered up , keep an eye on your money going out.

How the hell do you eat out 5x per week on only $60? Are you eating out of the trash?
