It was all over the news last year about Google employees protesting Google search in China. Were there much protest from Microsoft employees about Bing being used in China as I don't recall seeing any.

Honestly when I was in Microsoft no one really bothers to protest. Google cultural is far more left.
Baidu is a piece of shit, it literally kills people with its scams. Google was the only hope, those Googlers have no idea what they did.

Microsoft highly encourages its employees to help better the world through charitable giving. However its business is pure capitalism, not politics, so it cooperates and sells to governments as much as it can.
