I have close to 20k in HSA which is linked to betterment investment account but cant withdraw other than medical claims. Does it make sense in maxing it out year on year?

  Maybe it is just a Health Equity thing. I started getting dinged with like $8 a month fees from those guys after I left a company. Which is pretty substantial when you have a $3,000 or whatever in the account and plan to hold it for years. Microsoft used some fly by night bank called UMB to hold HSA funds and it was the same deal.

It’s the best investment vehicle available. Wish I could put more money into it.

Yes it makes sense assuming you can live without the money. It's triple tax advantaged. It's probably a guarantee that you'll use a good chunk of it, and if not you can withdrawal at 65 as ordinary income.
