How much does Apple pay in London?

Asking for an swe friend who cannot eat or sleep because of this. He is happy where he is but he can see some jobs being posted from time to time that sound very interesting (and match his experience). One appeared today: with the iCloud team (swift on the server?).

If he is paid 450k in NY currently, is it reasonable to expect 350k in London?

    No, $350K is a very high estimate, assuming you are not taking into account stock appreciation. $350K for FB E6 looks quite high to me as well. I have gotten offers from tech companies in London; Snap offer was the best (much above the rest), it was still below average Bay Area salary but still comparable (10-20% lower).

    On a different note, if I consider the stock appreciation of Snap stock (I got the offer late 2018/early 2019 and Snap stock price has gone up 10X), well one can do the math!

      Β£150K GBP base and $500K USD RSU (in 4 years); this was during late 2018 for a Research Scientist role and things might be very different now.

      Do you mean Facebook e6? How comes? Levels.fyi is full of 400k e6s in London... There is little data about Apple though, that’s why I’m asking here.
