Can you even get a council flat with this TC?
i don't understand how people can cycle in london, it's raining all the time, isn't it?
Have lived in London for >10 years, would highly recommend you live not walking distance from the office. The office is in a super central area, you just won't feel like you live in a real place, and London will always feel super impersonal to you. Lots of people love in North London, as long as you're close to a station you'll be grand. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/travel-time/ like someone else said, London can be hard to find community with, but it's doable, lots of people do meet up groups based on interests and meet people that way (quiz nights, board games, etc). If you have a favourite hobby it's good to start from there.
Hey thanks for the suggestions. Zoopla seems useful. I will also check out non-super central places
Can you please share the link to a meetup or something for quiz nights or board games?
OP, where did you end up getting your flat? What is the rent?
