Wondering how often I need to do transactions with my chase credit card to avoid that the bank closes it due to lack of activity? I do not use much the card but do not want to close the account as it as would hit my credit score.
Chase does close it if you don't use it and artificially set it to a low credit limit, and it is a legacy card that no longer exists. Don't have more specific details. Goodluck. On they other hand wells Fargo didn't care
I haven't used my credit card from a credit Union in years and they've left it open. Probably just depends on the bank.
I've never seen this happen and I have over 10 credit cards (I only use about 3 of them)
I have seen it twice, the first time with Barclays a year ago and today I got mail from chase
Can you elaborate how infrequently you use them?
