    Bank and HFT is very different. Banks will hire anyone with a pulse. The good HFT firms are much more selective than FB/Google/Airbnb etc

      U sure about that. Nowadays banks are cargo culting FAANG interviews. Last time RBC hackerrank for an internship was an LC Hard. Pretty Bullshit for shitty wage ($24.5 / hour) in CAD

      I work for RBC and I can assure that even tho might be some good talent but overall ppl there are absolutely dog shit quality... sometimes they have these difficult hackerrank just for marketing purpose... don’t fall for it.

      Well...words get out. Just like what you mentioned that the questions are LC hard... that gives ppl the impression that the company have some pretty smart ppl~ even tho false advertising
