How to Prepare for Data Science position at Snowflake?

Oct 21, 2021 5 Comments

Was wondering if someone could kindly provide some insight / advice on what kind of questions they might ask at Snowflake for 2nd round tech screening. They already alluded to some basic stats questions from a Stats 101 course. The email also said they would "focus on your technical knowledge and skills around Data Science / Machine Learning, and how you use technical skills and creativity to solve business problems." #dataanalytics #datascience #interview #snowflake #tech

    • Sadly not. They went with someone else citing educational background and experience. My experience was a combination of Data Scientist/ML Engineer/Software Engineer roles and I have an unrelated bachelor's degree (I'm self taught). They went with someone who has experience mainly as a Data Scientist and also had a masters degree in Data Science. I did ask for feedback though and they said there was definitely nothing negative and they would consider me for future roles but not sure how true that is. Sometimes they just say that for the sake of saying that...anyway, kind of broke me because I got really good feedback from them after the interview so I was a bit let down especially since Snowflake is my dream company
