5+ Years of Experience! LeetCode questions ? UVM Basics? SyetemVerilog? VLSI basics? Computer Architecture? To Do things for Behavioral Questions? Project ?
^^ this is silly. You should definitely practice leetcode questions, even for hardware.
A word of warning: there's always a chance that a FAANG team will ask a software programming question, especially since DV does involve some programming and scripting. Personally, I got leetcode questions from Microsoft, AMD(!!), Google, and Facebook. I strongly suggest practicing leetcode.
Sorry for asking leetcode questions. But if you had any sign of perseverance and problem solving I have given positive review for your interview. If you were rejected, sorry. There are many wannabes in my team, ranging from lazy wannabe PMs to MBA principle engineers ending at "Oh I wish I could finish my Georgia tech online CS degree". Don't loose hope. Dm me if needed. Fight the ridiculous change that our industry is going through. Learn for yourself, not for them.

On to it
Nothing wrong in being asked a few leetcode easy questions in a DV interview. Also, please don’t respond with “tell me, how often you use this in your day to day job ?” for an interview question. Instant Rejection.
Lol. Did that happen to you?
I was asked one leetcode question and I answered with o(n2) and the interviewer asked for o(n) solution and which I couldn’t able to answer that (ironically I got one round rejection which was the same round) company:fruit
Leetcode med?
Yeah ,can give the question too ..in-line rotation of matrix in 90 degree anti clock wise ,it was a bummer when I heard first ,later on able to solve it but more of brute force way which he didn’t like
Indian
How can anyone expect o(n) sol. Unless youve memorized or seen it before for that question. Lol.
I got asked puzzles that tested my middle school geometry. Solved those and yet got rejected :D. When you are interviewing you are at the mercy of the interviewer. You cannot do anything about it. I would do leetcode medium if I were in your place. May luck be with you.
Eg?
My interview at fruit didn't convert probably because I didn't leetcode ... they asked me to code in C ... I've not done it in 10+ years ... everything else was perfect
No, no to leetcode. If someone remotely asks you leetcode you don't want to work there. Justification : they themselves are not satisfied with it and there is not enough work, hence they leetcode. Second, be strong in projects you have done, and what you wrote in resume. If you know CA, know it well. UVM is given, if someone asks library internals ask them if they use it everyday. Keep trying and stick to something which you like.
Apple routinely asks LC easy in DV roles.
Do you or your source use those algos everyday? Implement and need to know those things everyday? Good leetcode does not mean good dv or design. Stop adding to the mania. I was a part of problem, once I recognized it and rectified it, I am much more happier and content, perhaps even better at my job.
