Recently a company offered me an internship that would be significantly better for my future career, pays more, and rather work at full time. Problem is that I’ve already accepted an internship offer at another large tech company a few months ago. How can I renege on that large company without being a total ass?
"Someone offered me more money. Sucks to suck, misers!"
Just do it
Switching from Facebook to airbnb?
Companies couldn't care less about you if someone else agrees to do your job for less... Be loyal to your work, not the organization. :)
It's an internship. No one really cares if you renege. Just do what's best for yourself.
Idk if Facebook would be "significantly better" since they have nice return intern packages, but if you wanna switch just tell them politely.
Be honest and don’t make lame excuse to them. The reneged company will make a note of it and might not consider you for future full-time opportunities down the road
