How to beat the system of contractor software engineering?

When the society has set up protection for workers for 401k, insurances, public holidays, PTO, and the extra of bonuses, ESPP, RSU, signing bonus, which can total $250k, $300k TC, the companies came up with contracting work, doing essentially the same job, but paying $140k TC.
So how can we break that system?
1. By not caring about money
2. By working 25 hours a week
3. By working in that contracting job, but even if it is 6 or 12 month contractor, if you get a job after 3 months, well, it is "at will" employment, and you can leave any time. The company pays half, that's why they get. They want to pay half and making use of our integrity and loyalty? There is no such "free lunch" on the planet.
