I am having a very pleasant experience with a recruiter at Google. The recruiter is very diligent, thorough, transparent and nice to talk to. Is there something I can do to get the person recognized? Thank you note was already sent. I would like to write to the recruiter’s manager, but don’t know the name. What can/should I do?
If the initials of your recruiter are CS, then yeah best recruiter ever.
Different person, but good to hear there is another. Especially when many recruiter stories on blind are not so +ve
I have interviewed with 6-7 other companies, and this recruiter stood out by far for similar reasons to yours. My plan was to thank the recruiter in person when I join.
U r nt alone. There are many people who think like you. Let her go!
Why do you think I am a desi?
You are such a great recruiter that you can always find awesome candidates like me.
Yes, I’d like to prove that.
This will not do you any favors.
I know and am not expecting any favor. I just want to get the recruiter recognized and valued so as a candidate, I can see more people like the person.
You can give a gThanks to the recruiter after you join. It can be in the form of kudos or peer bonus. The message goes to the person and the manager.
Thanks. I will do that if/when I join.
As a recruiter, a really genuine, sincere, thank you goes such a long way. Whatever you end up doing, I’m sure that recruiter will be very appreciative. Always love hearing positive recruiting stories! :) Thanks for remembering us!
I've generally felt Google recruiters were really good. I suspect their pipeline is so slow they have the time to do things properly unlike other top companies. Amazon was the worst by far !

One option would be to get the job and then send an email to her manager once you're able to find that out for yourself.
I sure would like to do so.
