My wife just came to the Bay Area for her second master's degree. Her first degree is data science and she now studies applied economy. I tried very hard to look for a data analyst intern position for her, but it seems there aren't so many such positions. I have been a researcher forever so don't really know how to look for analyst opportunities. Any advice?

Do you really think Amazon is that bad
Ask her to apply to DS intern instead of DA intern. SQL problems on LC would help her getting one.
I suppose DS needs machine learning stuff? She is good at SQL (has done all LC problems) but she's not very experienced with ML
Basics of stats and ML would work...in most of the companies DS = SQL. Real DS work is done by PhDs and by experienced people.
