Hi all, I'm a financial analyst from eastern europe, and i've applied for FAANG companies via their website on analytical positions, it's been like 2 months since then and i haven't heard back from any of them. How do people get interviews there? thanks!
You must summon the devil himself via pentagram They probably don't wanna sponsor you
You need to get a referral. Too hard to stand out amongst a sea of applicants
Referrals would be your best best. I would reach out to somebody on Blind if there’s nobody in your professional network that could refer you
I just helped someone get a referral off of a cold LinkedIn message. They just got an offer. If you are a genuinely good person and highly competent at your work it shouldn’t be hard. Also keep in mind FAANG is a term Jim Cramer made up. Each of these companies have their own values and cultures. Your experience at one will be very different than at another. IMHO You should really focus on meaningful work and meaningful relationships vs brand names on the resume.

Approach them via LinkedIn and referrals are very helpful
Thanks! I've never tried this, will it be appropriate to send them my CV via linkedin? or it will be a bit rude?
Sending resume is fine. But, first chat with him a little (small talk) to see if he is interested
