How to get more followers on insta

I tried everything to keep it good quality content, consistency, tag usage, timing of posts, etc.

I used to get 1-2 new followers for every post I make but now I hardly get any for each post.

I’m tired of following their new algorithm practices, put your posts in stories make more reels or stories. Why can’t good content be rewarded?

Is there a way to get more followers?

    I know this isn't what you asked, but please just consider it for a minute, gaining perspective is helpful.

    What is your next step after you gain the followers that you're thinking of?

    Suppose you have x followers now. Maybe you do well and at some future point you have 10x followers... then what? Post on Blind again asking how to get 100x followers? And if you get there... try to get 1000x followers?

    More followers = more time on IG. Come up with a reasonable estimate of how many months/years it will take to get from y followers to 10y followers. Ask yourself if that difference of 9y followers is worth the time you invested, or if you could have been doing something else.
