How to handle situation of coworker not picking up their share of work?
Co-worker at same grade level as mine, signs in to work late and signs off early. Doesn’t initiate responding to emails both of us are on, and always waits for me to respond. Doesn’t update the various project management trackers we have to capture accurate information - which leads me keep asking them for info which I need for my duties instead of just checking the trackers.
They need to be reminded a dozen times (I’m not even kidding) for simple tasks. Additionally, even if they finish a task its full of errors and lacks due diligence and then I have to clean up the mess.
We are training a new person for a lot of manual tasks and they don’t even participate in their share of training and the new person keeps asking me the questions.
It’s getting on my nerves. I brought up the updating tracker issue to my manager. But everything else is so difficult to bring up and manage. I can’t just stop doing it because then I feel guilty of not doing my job, but it annoys me that they dont do their f**king share of work!

I have been in this situation before and the ultimate solution to the unpippable colleague was that he was transferred to another team in the org.
If it is a performance situation, your manager should handle this.
Lastly, don't equate hours worked as work done. I've worked with people who start later and finish earlier and get just as much done as I do.
