So many accounts and login credentials Bank, credit card, insurance, utilities, shopping websites ... countless I have friends write them down in a small notebook. (old school style) I have friends create a txt file and carry with them in a usb drive It is not safe to keep them in Google drive, right? None of these seem to be a good idea. Even I tried to use only few variations, but still sometimes I can't do it right and force to reset password to something even harder to remember ("You can't not use password that you used before") How do you guys keep all those in track?

Have a basic one and many derived ones. Basic one you'd never forget and never write it down anywhere. Write derived ones down in forms such as "6)@_<_basic_>_!?,$" into Apple iCloud notes (because I use iPhone).
I don’t trust softwares that store my credential pairs.
Give them to me; I’ll keep them safe.
Use a combination system. Memorize short passcodes and combine them into passwords. Example) Apple, Xbz, Qwer Possible passwords: AppleXbz QwerApple etc. This way, one being compromised doesn't lead to another. If you forget, you can try the 6 combinations possible (assuming you use 3 passcodes).
I use Google chrome password manager. It's safe as long as no one knows the password to your machine
