How to pick a universal power adapter

I keep losing or misplacing my power adapters for all my peripherals (monitors, compute sticks, etc.) Until everything is replaced by USB, I'm left to my own devices and have to either replace them from the manufacturer or roll the dice with a replacement on Amazon. I'm looking for some tips on what to shop for to futureproof myself. I'm sure there is no truely universal solution, but I'd love to hear suggestions for how to tackle this problem. I'm in need of a 19VDC 150-180 watt adapter for my LG 34UM95 ultra wide display. If anyone knows a good place to look for a replacement, please let me know.
