How to politely reject a offer from amazon hyderabad?

I got a ping from a recruiter for a position in ad optimization team. Since I had not interviewed since graduation and jd seemed interesting, I went along with the interview to get some interview experience. After my interviews I found out that I was being interviewed for some team under retail. The TC they are offering me is about the same I am making right now. I rejected the offer citing TC and discrepancy in JD. That should have been it, but it has been 2 weeks and the recruiter calls me every other day to convince me to take the offer. He is ready to re negotiate the TC and wants to set up a meeting with the hiring manager. I still don't want to take the offer because: 1. I don't think it is worth it to join Amazon for a difference of 2-4L, given the additional benefits in Microsoft. 2. I have heard mostly negative reviews about retail team from my friends in Amazon. 3. The post interview experience (calls, emails) has made me even more apprehensive about taking the offer. Given I don't want to burn any bridges with Amazon, how should I firmly say a no? TC: 43L YOE: 3

Just say no. If they insist, just say you have moved on since the interview. JD discrepancy is a perfect reason and the recruiter should know as much and hopefully will learn the lesson on how not be be a “bait and switch” car salesman.

Stock growth I guess . Microsoft stock has tripled in last 3 year. So people have around 15-20 LPA in stocks .

This post is well thought out and respectful. Copy and paste it into an email.

I have sent a email effectively stating same things to the recruiter, but he still insists on call with hiring manager. I have seriously considered ghosting the recruiter(I know not the best thing to do)

Why not ask for 20-30% increase than just 2-4 L. If they really want to, they will give and you will get lots of money. If not you will say no and it would end there.

Reasons 2 and 3 will still be relevant. I work in a good team in Microsoft, I don't really want to join retail in Amazon.

Yes, but will that much amount money not be enough to change your mind?

Just say you are not interested in the position, and you are firm in your decision. And then you can ghost the recruiter.

What's the unit L? I am rather confused about the TC

Google superpower Sep 12, 2019

Its lakh... 10 power 5. And its INR.

Roku cruella Sep 12, 2019

Don't worry. If u don't know L it doesn't concern u. Also there's no translation from that unit to yours. So the info won't help u in any way. :)
