I currently have 1 year experience and I joined PayPal after college. I would like to move to US. Is Master's degree the only way to get a job in US ? I have seen people in PayPal shifting to US but I think that's hard for me as I had very little experience and I stay away from politics. Any advice ?
Google, Amazon, LinkedIn, Uber (may be), FB (London office) have friendly policies when it comes to intensional transfer.
OP - please can you elaborate on what you like about the lifestyle here? I came to the US to pursue my master degree and ended up staying here. Although I have my GC I am not planning to stay here because of the lifestyle ....
There are several things actually. Main thing I'm concerned about is reservation in India.I haven't got the college that I deserved.I don't want my children to go through all that. Even after hell lot of struggle the quality of education in nits is not comparable with that of other universities. Then the respect you actually get. Here almost everytime you are compared with someone else who are more successful than you. I don't understand why people don't mind their own business. The facilities that I get vs the tax amount that I pay. There's literally no match.
Maybe OP wants to eat beef? Or likes other opposite gender outside of their race? Or likes nightclubs that doesn't exist in their country. Maybe it could be other things like high crime rate, people pissing on the streets etc.
Don’t come here. Racist fascist nazi KKKs are in power and are putting all immigrants in concentration camps.
OP, You don't need politics to come to US. Please DM me or lookup postings in internal jobs portal. I believe there is a minimum experience required for transfer, if you meet that you can transfer in months. You will have a std interview, no need for politics. Another way is to get noticed in your current projects, then reach out to mngrs and directors you have worked with. Please stop about being a nice guys who is not into office politics so can't get a transfer or promotion.
Two best options: 1. Transfer internally. Join a US company and later transfer to the US on L1. Check company requirements for US transfer 2. BS/MS in STEM in the US, get F1 visa and 3-year work visa.
Ok thanks

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
What a shit goal to have in life!
It's not a goal. I like the lifestyle there
How do even know if you have never been to US?
