I have an amazing manager who’s always taken care of his team and I became a top contributor under his leadership. Someone else seems to be attempting a power grab the work environment has been deteriorating since the beginning of the year.
It seems that my manager will be forced out. I decided to start interviewing for practice in case things get worse and landed a great offer with one of the FANG.
New offer is %35 higher base + 250k in Stock plus bonus.
I’m about to accept the offer but don’t know how to tell my manager. Any advice?

Or really, how about you can tell him just what you wrote here. It is good and useful feedback. If he is a good manager he already knows you are thinking about leaving and why and will feel pride that he helped you to grow.
