How’s Alexa Sunnyvale
Hi, I have a verbal offer with Alexa org at Sunnyvale. Wanted to know the salary numbers compared to other orgs and growth aspects. Personally I felt Alexa products are crap. Curious if these launches translate to org salaries/refreshers and Pips. I am not really concerned about learning opportunities. I chose to stay away from interviewing with AWS due to heavy Ops lead it comes with. Thanks TC: 220
Most of Alexa is experiencing high attrition
Alexa is a crap team. That would suck the blood out of you making you slog day and night to make shit that no one cares. Worst of all the employees in this org.
I just imagine in every meeting, you just want to say "hi" to someone or comment on a Jira, and it's immediately followed by "By the way..."
What ?
Everything you do in Alexa is followed by "By the way, did you know you can..." followed by Alexa trying to sell you or have you install something. It's basically useless right now.
if it is related to tracking devices, please do yourself a favor and stay away. i know MANY people who left because of toxicity.
