It's a fast growing mortgage fintech featured on breakoutlist.com, futureengine.org, and linkedin's top startups. I have a potential referral, but haven't applied yet. I'm considering it for new grad and heard that base is comparable to FAANGs. Obviously options will be paper money, but they look pretty generous. Opinions on Blend's engineering talent, culture, TC, and potential? How does it compare to other startups?
Lol Dropbox is tier 1 if not 0
They seemed like a pretty good shop when I interviewed there before. Not 10/10 "best company ever" but I felt they had a strong engineering team and a lot of promising talent.
Thx for the actual reply. Do you think startups like Blend would be a good place to start a career for a new grad?
^ I do. That’s the size of company you should optimize for. You’ll do a lot, learn a lot, and have the best shot at growing into higher levels. Just make sure you like the product and tech.
Interviewed with them 3 years ago. Was not impressed at all. Their founder was one of my interviewers, and he has autism for sure (I can recognize it since I have a family member with it). Working for someone like that can be a horrible experience.
Never heard of them
Have you joined?
Those example companies in each tier are waaaay off.
