How's my Citi Offer?
I've recently interviewed w/ Citi for their Insider Threat Analyst (AVP) in their Irving, TX office, and received an offer? I wanted to evaluate an offer. Base Salary: 115K Sign-On Bonus: $0 YOE: 3 #interview #finance #tech

Okay so I got an offer at Citi for $80k + 10k sign-on as a new grad (0 YOE) in Irving. Only $25k pay increase in 3 years shows Citi is not a company for growth. That’s why I didn’t take the offer. If you use Citi as a stepping stone and are interested in making cyber security as a career, you will go far. Good luck!
It’s tech so you should be able to get at least 125k base for AVP
Sheesh, so I was basically lowballed 🤦🏾♂️ & I accepted the offer
Usually Citi does enjoy starting low or if you hit that middle number they don’t like going above it because it has to go through Hiring manager sign off and then to the HR comp approval board for review. It’s all a bunch bananas.
Idk- anything under 200 seems low
