I recently had interviewed with apple and gone through 7-8 onsite rounds. I did well with all rounds expect 1 round which I did okay. During the deep brief, does every one has to say thumbs up? if one says no will they still consider? please share your thoughts.
My recruiter said generally Yes. But if one is no hire, two are strong hires, other others are all positive, maybe this is the status they will need to consider further? Just my thought....
I personally think all need to say yes. I did well on all rounds and got the offer. My friend screwed up one of them and dint get the offer.
It depends on different teams. But as a rule of thumb, as long as there’s no “strong DO NOT hire” comment, they can possibly over ride one or 2 “weak do not hire” comments. At the end of the day, the hiring manager and higher managements (if they were in your interview) vote counts the most.
Thanks Bro. Could you please DM me. I lost all my points to DM you.
I totally messed up my system design portion, but nailed almost all coding questions with optimal solutions and behavioral ones. A couple of them I needed hints to get optimal solution. All interviewers were nice and showed positive signs during the interview. Do you think this is a no-hire?
Apple seriously has 7-8 interviews for their onsite? WTF?!
7-8 rounds but 12 interviewers overall 😳🙄
I had 5 technical rounds with 2 engineers each (2 questions per round) + 1 lunch with HM. I felt like I was doing the walk of shame when I was escorted out of the building. It’s an exhausting loop.
Please some one share your thoughts.
