Got contacted by a recruiter for a role, trying to research more about SAP. The info on glassdoor/pasya isn’t too helpful. What’s the comp like for someone with 1-2 years of exp? Hows the work? I see a lot of the SAP posts on Blind saying it’s not a good company to work for, but why?

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?

Yes, salary wise SAP fares poorly among other companies in Bay Area.
Is comp only salary or do they give stocks?
But culture is good. Supportive and flexible. Leadership cares about well being of people. Comp does not match up to Bay Area Standards.
Comp matches Bay Area standard in some divisions like Ariba, SuccessFactors. Good part is culture and leadership really cares for people, policies are employee friendly.
I don’t know what culture you are talking about?
The culture that does not encourage hiring and firing employees like most of the other Bay Area/ American companies, for starters.
What do u expect?
Low salary compared to other companies in Bay Area. For new grad range starts from 90k to 105k mostly. I don’t think culture is good either. To be honest depends on your team and manager.
Work depends on the team you are joining. Comp around 90 to 100k. Company is good, but since most of the people are very experienced, young people like you might feel bored😀
100k? How do you eat? 🤣
90k?? Which location? Obviously not in the Bay Area
