Damnnn I though it a month long... How many days is your PTO there? And what if you used all of your PTO, I assume they will still give you that one week at the end of year?
Not sure really...I've never checked how many leaves we get since I've never come close to exhausting them 😁

Unlimited above senior level. Standard 10 PTO, 4 sick days, 7 Volunteering days etc otherwise

Literally European working standards. 6 hour work days, 35 days of vacation, 6 months to a year of family leave.

Well it's week long though most make it a month long vacation starting early December and returning mid January. There's also another week long summer break week of July 4. No cap on time off, manager discretion. Several end up taking around 2 months off a year. No wonder we have amazing stickiness.

In the three major BUs, yes. IT is a different story.
Tokyo, Japan: Monthly pay includes 40 hours of OT; tremendous pressure not to consume much PTO. (Average consumption last year was 4 days.) Half day of PTO charged if any number of minutes late, unless proof of train delay is supplied. The calendar has about 15 holidays built in, though, which is much better than in the US.

Best work-life balance I’ve had yet. Generous work from home policy (most of my team only goes in 2-3 days a week, some only come in 1 day a week). Good remote policy too - want to go fuck off to visit family in another state? Work remote, save your vacation days. Stress is moderate depending on team and such as usual but my team is pretty chill so it’s just a matter of managing workflow. Annual shutdown Christmas to New Year’s. 40 hours a year to spend volunteering for charity. Pretty happy with it so far.
