Trying to gather some data points to evaluate better two ongoing opportunities: director of product at Twitter (SanFra, product management role) vs. SDM L6 at AWS (Seattle, engineering management role). Both passed the interview rounds, ongoing convo on expected comp.
Seemingly higher level position for the former vs. entry level management for the latter.
YOE: 16, currently managing director.
How do they compare in terms of company culture, expected comp (I have a good idea about AWS but no good sense at Twitter), growth opportunity?
Thoughts?
