Friday stock tells us all. IBM and Intel are dying. However, I believe there are some talents still working hard in these companies. I can’t understand their purpose. TC is low. Your company is dying whatever you do. Not to mention the shit storm caused by the stock.
Are you in these companies? Do you just want to leave? If you already left, how do you think of your ex-colleagues who are still working there?

@intel, i guess i m not able to convince u of my thoughts. Atleast u r listening unlike someone else here. In the end its all just personal opinions. Do wat u think is right n wat u believe in and course correct if things go south. imo, good work exp triumphs in the long run. u will go places. so i guess engineers need to focus on that whether at intel or any other place.
Dying is when your company gets bought by another company, reorganized multiple times, and multiple strategy shifts. Rinse and repeat that a few times.
Yes, I have been there. It's actually not so bad. Obviously not the best pay, but easy to coast. Companies can stay in that kind of holding pattern for YEARS, or even decade+. But you *should* have an exit strategy. If you are motivated for more money, you should leave anyways. But if you are near retirement, and just tired of working, it's the best place to be.
