Just got referred to Twitter; thanks to a fellow blind user! I'd be super grateful if I could get some more help from people tho. Resume critiques, job tips or anything else you might think can help with my career. Summary: Graduated Spring 19 from UTD; YOE 2; Seeking roles in Analytics; International student, will require sponsorship; TC: 40k Current company although is a F-500 listing, it's using tools/technologies I already know, so there's nothing new to work on. Long hours with no additional pay, and my parent organization does not sponsor. I love you guys ❤️ Willing to work hard for every interview that I might score. Pizzas for a month as a reward :)
So explain how you dealt with a situation where in you’re middle of developing a feature and you got requirements changed around with it
I haven't developed anything as such, Well..code-wise atleast, but I have created some kickass visualizations! We were asked to create a dashboard where they needed us to show top 10 counties with highest retention rates, along with some other KPI and a bunch of filters I wish I could tell you more about. (confidentiality) For one of the columns, we realised there was no way to get the results, as our 3rd party DB vendors were in the middle of a Data Migration and the required values weren't.. umm.. structured yet. So we informed the same to our senior stakeholders and provided them with projections adding a 5% MOE based on past values. In a nutshell, They were okay with it.
I wouldn’t put 2.3 years of experience, round to half or whole numbers, 2.3 just seems weird.
Hahah! Okay! I’ll update it :)
Amazon?
Yes!!! ABSOLUTELY! As long as I get to learn something new and they're willing to sponsor. I'm definitely not picky right now and Amazon is super amazing to start with :)
