CG is a body shop. My friends had heard their boss say to them once that management is Pimp and they trade the employees to please client. When you join a consulting company you agree to work on technology to meet client requirements. He is forcing you to deliver what is needed. Move to different team or company if it concerns. Be candid with your boss and tell your concerns.
That said, it is always good to learn more and also get better at what you like to do. It will help you with career growth.
The only justification you need is that you’re not interested in working on this part of the technology and the job market is so strong you can work anywhere you like. so if they are interested in retaining you they can work with your interests or you’ll look elsewhere. You should start looking elsewhere before you say this of course.
Have you thought of eventually becoming an architect? This experience could help you with that route
Well managers do need to manage.
Is there an option to embrace change and see it as learning opportunity?
Total 3+ years of experience I am expecting to be expert at my skills and not to keep switching technologies
