After reading this article, I've been convinced that the turn I thought Microsoft was taking is a facade. They were pushing to become more open source. They seemed to become less sleazy and more professional. I even began to consider applying for a job because of this cultural shift. It looked like they were outpacing Google at Google's own game. I visited Redmond several times and was impressed with what I saw.
But after reading about the case of Eric Lundgren, I know the company has not changed. I could never work for such an ethically devoid company. Shame on you, Microsoft, you almost had me fooled.
