Living in SF on low cash comp, unable to liquidate their shares because IPO keeps getting delayed. They are angry and demoralized.

I believe AirBnB has liquidity events, so employees can sell their equity before the IPO. Maybe someone from AirBnB can confirm?
Airbnb gives cash bonus and there is an option to take 25% of your refresher as cash.
@temp that's not quite what I'm referring to. Some private companies allow employees to sell their private equity back during specific windows (usually annually) at the current market rate based on valuation. This is known as a liquidity event and I heard that AirBnB does them.
