I have seen a couple posts bashing Indian managers.

To the racists who are badmouthing Indian people:

Racist stereotyping is ethically wrong and factually inaccurate, and hardly deserves even being refuted.

Still, as a white guy with an Indian manager that is AWESOME, I must object to these unfair and bigoted claims.

My manager is technically excellent and has great people skills. Mentoring comes naturally, because they want to impart the wisdom they have gained over their career. They genuinely want to see their team succeed. And I’m not gonna sit by when people badmouth them and others.

To my Indian friends, colleagues, and neighbors:

I apologize on behalf of other Americans who have made you feel discriminated against or unwelcome. I hope that you don’t see some racist opinion on here and conclude that it represents white america (though it would not be an unreasonable conclusion). I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a handful of racist trolls who just keep changing their name and making these shitty posts.

To other reasonable Americans:

If you see people saying this shit, online or in person, stand up to it. Don’t let racists drag you down in to a debate, just unambiguously object to their racism.
