HELP ME FIND A NEW CAREER! I’m going crazy trying to figure out which career I’d enjoy and be good at. I can list some qualities of mine and I hope the fine people on Blind can help me figure it out. ===Career choices I’ve considered=== Possible roles I’ve been considering and why. High TC and fast career progression is my goal: -Tech Sales (I’m good with people and I have heard the TC is over $200k if you hit your goals. Can anyone confirm?) -Management Consulting (M/B/B firms which would require me to get an MBA unfortunately. Good role for bullshitters and people with presentation skills. Cool lifestyle with always changing work. Get to dress nice. -Investment Banking (By far has the worst WLB but exit opportunities are very good and the money as an Associate is like 300k TC) -Move to Hollywood and take my swing at acting (I’m a pretty good looking guy, though I realize this doesn’t mean shit. Could try and get a big break just like the new Star Wars cast did. Chances very low.) -Start a Youtube or twitch channel (really over saturated but the personality may help here) -Some online marketing business using cloaking to make money ===Personal Strengths and Weaknesses=== Strengths: (more + indicates more skill lol) ++++Very outgoing and good with people; can randomly approach anyone. (My biggest strength. I’m very good at this though I fear this alone won’t get me places. +++Great at bullshitting and also connecting people to each other. Not trying to be arrogant with this one. Just stating the facts. +++Funny (does this even count? Lol) ++Good at making simple analogies to complex problems; assuming I understand them. +Creative (hence I’m always dreaming) Weaknesses: ——Not good at coding and don’t enjoy it. Feels pointless and frustrating. ——Not driven by roles that are slow paced. I thrive on meritocratic roles that reward you directly based on performance. ——-Don’t enjoy back-office type work; feels empty and meaningless. ===Extras=== Background: (not really too relevant here) I’m currently an L4 Engineer in Amazon (first job after college with some prior internship experience); it’s a good first stepping stone job but I already know I will strongly dislike coding. Thanks guys. Feel free to be brutal 😝
Enterprise Sales
I did try Sales when I was younger but I wouldn’t be able to close. Just have good conversations?
Hmm, how about customer success engineers? They maintain relationships, help companies integrate products, occasionally up sell more services
This post has Sales written all over it. Go read wallstreetplayboys.com and enlighten yourself. Thank me later :)
Csn somebody summarize it for me?
I put headings on it to make it easier to read. Let me know if it’s still too long!

Who be blind?
Start your own company.
How does one go about this? Is there a process where someone finds what is lacking in the market? Market research perhaps? I have looked into this but a little lost on how to get started. I’ve read some books on entrepreneurship and they were vague.
Think about a problem you experience, or be very observant of the world around you and see what troubles people.
Porn?
I know a great career coach that specializes just in that PM me if you're interested
Sounds like a manager.
