I heard State Farm is pretty good in terms of price?
I actually have had Geico for a while and theyve been increasing prices. I got a quote from State Farm and Geico does seem significantly cheaper
State farm is good. I use them for both renters and auto insurance. I’ve used geico in the past, they provide excellent service too.
*tear of happiness*
There is a Chinese company I think it’s wanwanesa (something to that effect). My co worker said they are super competitive. I personally haven’t tried them out but if you are looking why not.
Anyone tried Farmers Insurance? Do they tend to be cheaper than Geico?
They’re not cheaper than geico but they have a better service. I’ve read terrible reviews about geico. I currently have farmers insurance and I’m pretty happy with them. Have been w them for 10 years or so. But my favorite is State Farm, though they’re a lot more expensive.
I just switched from geico to metromiles that charges per miles plus a base rate. Looking at saving $1000 a year as I don’t drive a lot.
I have had Geico for almost a decade and I am changing now. 2 CS agents lied to me (and I recorded the calls) where they said Geico does not raise rates for first HOV violation (new to Washington... didn't know y'all had HOV only exits. My state only had HOV lanes but exits open to everyone). I let the HOV violation go on the record since attorneys wanted more than the fine. Guess what? Rates jumped by 20%. Called Geico and they said "Sorry we misinformed you." I told them I had recorded conversation but they didn't care. After more than a decade of having Geico and having ZERO claims and a squeaky clean record till this HOV thing, I am moving on.
We probably have the best service out there, but we can be a bit pricey, I would check online/call an agent. Usually if you bundle your auto/renters or auto/homeowners, there’s a good discount.
State Farm the best. Farmers not too bad. Geico sucks.
Quoting my car at SF ended up being more than double what progressive was. And my coverage with progress had much higher limits. Pro tip: whenever your premium is up, shop around. Even requote with your current provider. You’ll be surprised how much you can save.
Not a pro tip.... companies take how much you shop into consideration when rating
Try Geico. In comparison they were much cheaper.
