I need your advise in my job search 🥴
Hello Blinders, I need your advice in my job search, I am Finance professional in big reputable consumer goods company with 15 years of diverse experience, In July of this year i started to look for new opportunities and all I got was several interviews with recruiters but never moved forward to get an interview with a Hiring Manager. The case is even worse for my wife who is an Architect with a French MBA in quality assurance, she is also a certified ISO 9001 Auditor, but she does not have American experience in her resume. She applied to more than 100 jobs in Various levels and she never got even 1 interview for a real job even entry level. We are both a green card holders and I think our experience is Fairly unique compared to market. Would you please advise on how we can get new jobs for both of us? Thank you all in advance
Get referrals from influential ppl in the companies you got called back for.
Spend more time networking with people and try to find an in. You’ll probably need to share more information for more specific advice. Blanket blind applying to jobs pretty much won’t work, especially if you don’t have exactly the experience they are looking for.
What company are you with now?
May i ask what difference would it make, I honestly trying to make my post anonymous as much as possible by not even sharing my company’s name
