I started buying at ebay recently, and my experience is good so far.As long as i make sure i am buying from the rated sellers, things work out. I don’t want to compare it with amazon, because ebay doesn’t sell anything so its not an apple to apple comparison. Still i see lot of negative comments about ebay, but want to listen more from the people who had good experience.

I love eBay as a buyer. (Used to sell heavily there too). I'd never work there as a tech company but it's solid to buy things from.
Stopped using them many many years ago due to an overall crappy experience and PayPal hassle. Haven’t gone back since, maybe things have changed but it will take a lot more than a maybe to get me to buy anything from there
yeah thats correct only one bad user experience is good enough to loose a customer. Still PayPal is there on their site, but it worked fine to me.
