I have been in the bay area for 8years now on H1B.

Getting annoyed with all the hatred H1B is getting, on top of that there is no path to citizenship the waiting list for green card is insane.

I can't imagine being stuck at home for another year with a 13month old and trying to have it all. Everyday feels like a circus, I am in meeting, my husband is in his meeting and my 13 month is throwing the phone at me and screaming cause I am not playing some song she wants on YouTube. Then I have to make lunch/dinner/clean juggling her tantrums, meetings, coding, resolving issues, sync up and more coding. I used to work till 2am everyday, but I'm burnout now. And everyday I wake up to gazillion work items in email. I need to be either back at work or take a 3 month break in a place where I wont get deported for not having a job.

Also the men I am working with seem to be doing so much better, especially the ones with stay at home wife, they are thriving.

What is the best way to move to Canada?

I think you should ask your spouse to take up more work. Seems like the work is not divided correctly. Canada won't fix your issue

It’s a 6-12 month process. IELTS, WES evalv and a bunch of paper work. Then wait time for response to interview.

To make your life easier why don’t you have a nanny take care of kid at home? Do regular covid checks else give at home accommodation.

Wow 13 month old addicted to YouTube? You have bigger issues to fix than GC or Canada immigration.

It has nothing to do with US/Canada ... your husband needs to lend a hand! You guys need to share responsibility, from what you say it sounds like he isn’t of much help with household chores ... get a nanny if it helps but you guys need to share the chores

I read that it’s less costly to raise a family in Canada (health, education, electricity, water, transport) but now the real estate is really high in some cities. Might be worth going on a temp basis to figure out if you can deal with the cold.
