So I read that Arvind Krishna will become the new CEO as Rometty steps down. How do current employees feel about the leadership change? How will the company's growth and culture be impacted? I'm in the interview process and would appreciate info about where the company is headed and how people feel about working at IBM in light of this news. https://www.businessinsider.com/ibm-ceo-ginni-rometty-arvind-krishna-replace-2020-1
Good riddance indeed. That old blood was quite toxic.
What was wrong with her leadership?
Ginny's target was to increase stock price at any cost. Any other leader's target was to accomplish their manager's target and move to their next role in two years. ( At any cost) I don't think this will change. If you're joining band 9+ that's the culture. Band 9 is the most stressful role in IBM. You work for your manager's target with an underpaid complaining team.
Who cares till you get your money
IBM is a sinking ship. Nothing they produce is worthwhile
That's what people thought about Microsoft when Satya took over
I worked at IBM. Watson is a complete scam, it's lots of shine on top of shit. Literally anyone good leaves.
Another indian enters the CEO rank. Looks like this decade will continue to be Indians taking over top positions at US firms with women next in line, than LGBTQ ...
With a CEO with actual tech background IBM is poised for a Renaissance.
This did not age well.
Next 2015-2020 Microsoft. I'm calling it now
Sinking ship and he won’t be able to save
