What is the tax rates in Amsterdam? How is the job market there in IT industry? What is the average SDE salary there? What is a good salary to live comfortably there?
Anywhere between 60k to 100k depending on seniority and level. Could probably get above 100k at certain companies. You get a great tax benefit as expat called the 30 percent rule that gives you 30 percent of your salary tax free. Living is significantly cheaper than west coast. If you're earning 80k than you can live pretty comfortably
Cool. Do you know if work visa and immigration is rather friendly or unfriendly compared to US?
Yeah very easy once a company sponsors you. Tech scene is pretty active and they want tech people coming. Berlin is another hotspot and probably more cooler City to live in but getting just as expensive as Amsterdam and no tax benefit.
€62-75K for developer position, and €80-95K for a senior one.
Does anyone has idea about companies like Uber, Adyen, IMC for 6 years Engineering Experience (Software Development & Infrastructure)? I am interested to understand the culture, growth and compensation.
IMC: Base minimum 70k + performance bonus
